Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Gastro Globe mobile application ("App") operated by Gastro Globe ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Gastro Globe is a recipe discovery application offering curated recipes from various world cuisines. The App provides:
- Free access to a selection of recipes.
- Premium content for users who have been granted premium access.
- Personalized features such as saved favorites and language preferences.
3. User Accounts
To access the App, you must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at kuzeyfeneri@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Premium Content
Certain recipes and features are designated as premium content. Premium access is granted at our discretion and may be associated with your account email address. We reserve the right to modify premium access eligibility at any time.
5. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Gastro Globe. Recipe images sourced from Wikimedia Commons and TheMealDB are used under their respective open licenses. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from the App without our express written permission.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App.
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content from the App.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Recipe nutritional information, preparation times, and other details are estimates only. Always use your own judgment when preparing food and be aware of potential allergens.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gastro Globe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or goodwill.
9. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all locally stored app data is permanently erased. You may re-register at any time using Google Sign-In.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
